The majority of the non-profit organizations are dedicated to the public interest and obtaining the desired changes. It takes more than a village, it takes a country, lots of volunteers and financial resources.
Advocacy for Change
We are USA citizens working tirelessly to promote and pass urgently needed, essential immigration legislation to allow invividuals who have resided in the USA, are married to US Citizens or legal residents and have children born in the United States who missed an appointment and were ordered deported in absentia or given order to leave but failed to so. We are asking congress to pass an urgent law to allow those applicants who have spouses, children who are US Citizens, have not committed any crimes, received government assistance and have worked and contributed to their communities. Many of those applicants were approved for immigration adjustment and become US Residents but the law mandates they live the country for 10 years and re-apply after the 10 years absence from their families. We need volunteers to obtain signatures, send letter, make phone calls, visit the offices of members of congress, and let others to support the cause. We also need financial contributions to pay for the expenses . We have certified auditors and acccountas keeping our financial books and maintain transparency and the highest accountability.
